I thought Subspace Rhapsody was great. Sometimes Trek can really overdo the sillyness on the silly episodes, but this was just fun all the way through.
The Klingon scene was strawberry floating incredible
My one criticism is that they really missed a trick by not having Kirk do all of his parts as a spoken word performance.
I really loved that, the one thing they definitely should have done though was have Spock and Chapel argue in musical form, where you'd have one side of the room on Spocks side and one side on Chapels and they fight and dance into each other
It doesn't really matter, but why were Kirk/Spock/Uhura/Scotty unaware of the Gorn in TOS? I don't remember anybody in the Gorn episode having a clue who they were.
Fantastic finale to the season, even if it ended on a cliffhanger!
S2 has been brilliant. I think there's only been one bad episode in its entire run, which puts it up there as one of the best Trek series.
Finally caught up with S2 over the last couple of weeks; didn't quite love it as much as the first season, but still really entertaining. The Lower Decks ep really surprised, it was excellent! The musical ep I was less enthusiastic about; have to agree with Hexx on that one.
