It gets so much better, it's a completely different show by the finale and what a finale it is.

No show will be able to better it this year. 8-)

The adverts on Bravo have totally sold this to me. Thanks for the links, cannot wait to watch this...

Hmm... Tonight it's either this or The Fountain...

Finished episode 4 last night. Jesus Christ, the Pits

Really is starting to pick up pace. The first episode, while looking great, felt flat in terms of acting. Pretty much 300 condensed. Now, it's a whole different ball game. I never do this with shows but I can't seem to stop watching it

Glad you're both enjoying it. It's a shame others will ignore it on the poor opening episodes, such an amazing show after ep3.

Watch it. Or download it and watch it. I'm sure it took less than a week for me to see it all :shifty:

Amazing new show.

What is wrong with the blood in this show? I also really don't like all the 300-esque slow motion stuff during the fight scenes and it's only been 10 minutes.

Not that great really. Annoying use of slow motion in fights, the blood...there has to be some reason it looks so ridiculously gooseberry fool? And the acting was very ropey in places - I often found myself bursting into laughter at some of the line delivery.

I'll give it more time, if only because the main character's wife is beautiful.

The first couple of episode are ridiculous in the reason you just said. Never really clicked with me until a few episodes later

Pretty much everything you've complained about is intentional.

The show really picks up when they enter the pits, it's amaze after that point. 8-)
