Southland season 5. Best show of the year.

I don't really buy into Sherman's character arc that much, it doesn't really make a whole lot of sense why he's become a dick.

Which one was Shaq? The guy talking about crooked cops? If so he's gotten faaaaaaaaat.

Too much character stuff in that ep for me, which seems to be the weakest element to the show.

Shaq was the black officer who was talking to Coop outside the cemetery when they were waiting for the outstanding murder warrant..

What an episode, maybe next weeks series (?) finale is the hunt for the bad guys. Also got the Ben/Sammy situation to sort out.

The most recent episode was amazing, incredible scenes.

Can't believe the episode tomorrow might be the last one.

Brilliant end to a brilliant season. Really hope it isn't over but who knows. I'm on officer Sherman's side. Sammy was acting erratic and Sherman did what he had to do. He wasn't doing it in a horrible way. His plan just went a bit balls up.

Totally shocked by that ending. Obviously it was coming once the police showed up but still made me say "oh gooseberry fool". Sad it's over.

I want more seasons!

Holy strawberry float that was good. That scene with Ben and Sammy on the rooftop was incredible.

As soon as Sammy did that weird hug around the neck thing, I knew he knew. What followed was some sterling acting from both of them.

He finally snapped after everything that had happened to him. I think it's quite clear that if the show comes back he'll survive, if it doesn't, the official story will be that he died. The scene earlier with him on the roof listening to Lucero's End of Watch was beauitifully done. There were so many standout scenes in this episode.

Like what they're doing with Lydia and Russel, too. Great to see him back on the show again. :wub:

If this doesn't get renewed I'm gonna be pissed. I think this has been without doubt the best season of the show.

I think I prefer last season, mainly due to Lucy Liu but still, a wonderful ten episodes. Fingers crossed for renewal but it isn't looking good is it?

Superb season. Superb show.
