That's got me into reading loads of theories. This is gold.

I particularly like the idea that Varys (or the person who killed him and took his identity) is with the Faceless Men, or is perhaps the original Faceless Man, and is plotting with the Others to basically destroy the world. The Others pretty much have no relation to all the other conspiring, so Varys being allied with them and causing all the upheaval in Westeros ties things together.

4x03- Fifteen minutes into the new episode, who thought it would be a good idea to make Jaime a rapist? :dread: I can't believe they've done this.

I wish I didn't read the books. *Major Spoilers*

I can't get too attached to the Hound and Arya segments, because I am pretty sure he dies :( I also enjoy Tywin, but of course the last interesting bad guy is going to be killed off. I think I am just about to the end of my book knowledge though, the last thing I remember is Cat being a zombie, Tyrion falling into a river, Cersei getting tied up naked by a priest and Stannis getting pissed because Jon wasn't giving him castles.

"The Hound" died. Sandor Clegane is still alive for now but he's put that part of his personality aside.

"still alive for now"

He's dead as soon as George gets that next book out the door.

Not 100% confirmed, but a solid theory that most people, including myself, accept. I wouldn't take it as gospel though. I certainly hope it's true.

Having said that, I didn't realize the jailer in the red keep who disappears after Tyrion escapes is likely to be Varys

Spoilers from today's ep:

was all the stuff with bran and craster's keep in the book? Seems like a desperate way to change bran's boring as strawberry float storyline.

Basically. (All books spoilers) Bran has like three chapters between ASOS and DWD. They're already broadcasting WOW spoilers. :(

In fact the HBO online recap of that ep was posting even more WOW spoilers.

The baby thing is new and in the online HBO recap they called the head Other guy (WOW spoilers maybe) the "Night's King". It's since been edited so it just says a generic walker.

Locke is based off Vargo Hoat who got fed to the Harrenhall bear IIRC. All that plotline is new but he'll probably get killed off next week when he tries to kill Bran.

I think what will happen with Locke is:

DWD spoiler
He'll be the one who stabs Jon at the end of DWD.

Wasn't he fed to the other prisoners, or even himself? I hope he's not the one to stab John, it'll be a lot better coming from his mates like the book.
