I'm not sure what the general opinion of the majority of members of this forum is regarding Scrubs, but personally I think its great. It always cheers me up if I'm in need of a lift. It's cheesy, formulaic and simple, but I looooove it.

This forum will probably gooseberry fool on it. I like Scrubs but it suffers from Friends syndrome now. Repeated too much.

I find it unbearable now. It's really shallow and pedantic. Looking back at the earlier seasons.. I can't stand it.

Season nine doesn't exist. That's why the boxsets only go up to season 8.
Scrubs is as good as Friends. The only two sitcoms I've ever been able to get into.

Scrubs is amazing. It's one of the only American TV shows I've actually ever managed to get into.
Season 3 Elliot
We can only mention Season 9 if we're discussing Nicky Whelan.

Anyone else think (500) Days of Summer seems like an extended version of My Bed Banter and Beyond?

Series 1-5 were gold, series 6 and 7 were a bit pants. Haven't seen the last two though.

It was never as good as Friends. Also, watch more sitcoms.

I used to love it, I still like it, but the later series' became a bit full of themselves, like most shows though.

Yeah, you're probably right. I was caught up in the moment.
Any sitcom recommendations?

Scrubs
1-8 were great. 9 not so much, but Nicky Whelan did save it from what could of been far worse.
I originally didn't give it much of a chance but gave it a go after Friends finished and I thought it was quite good
