I don't hate on it. I went and bought it when I got a ps3 last year. And comparing it Tomb raider? No.

The whole game feels off. His movement is poor. And feels proper clunky.

Fabian Delph is a banana split.

Yep, this gooseberry fool is well annoying. HSH is the worst for it.

I do adore the new tombraider. Whether its better than Uncharted, prefer not to judge.

Well I don't get that feeling at all. Drake does have "natural" movements, where the animation basically has it's own AI system that adapts to the player inputs and surrounding geometry, but that has been in place since the first game, was refined in 2, and is identical to 2 in 3.

I guess 3 didn't do itself any favours by releasing with a broken aiming mechanic, that was quickly patched, and also by having a really horrible chase sequence very early on. I think that's why you see it with a 92% average instead higher in my opinion. The aiming is now fixed, and if you can look past that 2 minute sequence the rest of the game is amazing.

I replayed TR thanks to PS+ and have to say it is at the very least on par with Uncharted 2. Thing is, it's pretty clear which game they were aping and features they borrowed from other games besides that. Given that and the money behind them, it's no wonder they made such a good game.

Here's hoping they manage the same second time around. And that the tombs are more expansive.

I found the shooting & combat in Tomb Raider considerably more enjoyable than in Uncharted. Both games had fantastic settings, but I preferred the more upbeat and colourful nature of Uncharted 2/3.

You can absolutely see what the latest TR was trying to do, and I did like the weapons variety and combat.

I played through uncharted 1-3 back to back last year for the first time after picking up a PS3, absolutely adored them, 2 especially. Why? Because they were great fun, varied environments, good writing, humour and fun characters. Maybe I had no preconceptions which is why I loved them?

TR comes out, I have expectations of what came before. What we get is a game that takes itself far too seriously while throwing a strawberry float ton of enemies at Lara, I just didn't feel right. I didn't like the story, the tombs, the characters but it played great.... It just wasn't fun, hence uncharted wins.

The metroidvania progression to the island was fantastic. I like/love Uncharted but its far from a flawless series and Tomb Raider done a lot more right than anybody gives it credit for. Even Laura being a mass murderer is contextualized in a better manner than Happy-go-lucky genocider Drake.

You too

I really struggled to stay interested in Tomb Raider's story, the characters were just devoid of personality.

Such an odd game to go platform exclusive, it's always been on PC too and now not even that :(

I wouldn't be surprised if it eventually comes out on PC, look at Dead Rising and Ryse.
