The uncharted games were poor IMO.

They ripped off tomb raider basically.

So TR>> all uncharted games. (Well except the 2nd one which was decent)

Really? Tomb Raider was in its death throes until Crystal Dynamics attempted to rip off Uncharted's mechanics.

Apart from the combat Uncharted does everything better than Tomb Raider... characters (I wanted everyone in Tomb Raider to die, including Lara, she was just annoying), locations, level design, variety, graphics, sound.

Review scores across the board prove that the Uncharted series in objectively better.

The original TR was nearly the perfect dungeon explorer. And the reboot, was better than uncharted too.

How can you state it's better when average review scores clearly say otherwise? You can say you prefer it, you're perfectly entitled to, but to say it's better when it obviously isn't is ridiculous.

Reviews are still an opinion mate. Not scientific fact. I tried to like the uncharted games. I really did. They were just, well, dull.

The tomb raider reboot is far more of an Uncharted clone than the Uncharted games were a tomb raider clone. I don't see borrowing ideas being a bad thing though, it turned out to be a fun game, which is what we should all care about. Curious though how some people love one, and actively dislike the other, considering how similar they are now. Surely the logical outcome is to like both, or dislike both, but oh well, opinions.

Define dull for me and then, with reference to that definition, explain how the island of Tomb Raider was "dull"

Uncharted 3 is a fantastic game, but one that has become popular to hate on by a minority, for one reason or another. Played through it again recently too, still an amazing experience, should be rated higher.

I don't think anyone will have any problem with someone finding one game more fun than another, even when that opinion is not shared by a majority, the problem is when someone tries to force their minority opinion forward, as though it's the correct opinion. Not saying you did that but you tend to see that a lot in forums in these situations.
