Pretty decent return, seemed to have solved some problems of the 1st season.

Shame about the ratings though. If they get any worse (and they probably will because most shows drop from their season premiere) it's going to take a Fringe-like miracle to make it to a third season.

It's a shame because I can't see it ending wth a conclusion if it is cancelled after this season.

Maybe if they advertised it more, people would want to watch it more.

OKAY! Watched me the first episode of the new season yesterday. Thoughts below:

I didn't expect the nukes to be stopped, but it still surprised me that they struck.
I didn't expect the power to go back out so quickly, but I'm glad that it did.
I figured the US would have sallied forth more or less immediately after the nukes, but I suppose waiting for the initial fallout to clear a little and waiting for all those refugees to gather conveniently on the coast made things easier for their hearts and minds strategy.

Are the nanobots evolving? Is that why the fireflies are there?

Overall, glad to have it back. Shame the ratings are so gooseberry fool, but hopefully the network likes it enough to ignore them.

It's getting a bit too much like Lost with all the ridiculous plot twists.

I'm still enjoying it though.

I've got all caught up with the latest episode too, and while the show has completely changed in feel, I don't mind it. I'm looking forward to seeing how the remainder of the series goes.

Yeah I think im enjoying it more at the moment than a chunk of last season. The shame is im sure it will be cancelled this season so I hope they're given enough notice so they can wrap it up.
