I reckon that it has significantly improved since the mid-season finale. I just saw episode 15 today, really good stuff. Poor beardy bloke. :(

I think this show is getting stronger and stronger too. I'm watching it on sky one but ive read ahead due to my impatience and it does sound like its continuing to get better.

Still surprised they killed off danny so quickly although that thing the mum pulled out of his chest must mean something.

Yeah, they saved him and then he was all, "dead lol." He did seem a bit pointless though.

I can confirm that there are 20 episodes. The Wikipedia article for the show also says 20.

The last episode ends awesomely. One minute you're sort of relieved, the next you're all oh gooseberry fool dayum wut, then the credits roll.

Indeed it's amazing how they managed to turn the show around and keep improving it. I'm all ready for the finale tonight on sky one.

Awesome.

found it odd that randle shot himself. Would like to know how the president thought randle was working for him when it was randle that turned the lights off etc. shame Nora died, didn't expect that. Also wouldn't randle have also launched missiles at Texas, California etc as well? Leaves me wanting more. Plus my theory is that Rachel caused the blackout to save Danny.

Randall had been fighting to turn the power back on seemingly ever since he (well, I assume it was him) turned it off, the US fell and all that gooseberry fool happened. Perhaps the weight of what he had done was just too much to bear, so once he had fulfilled his mission of turning on the power again, he decided to end it there?

I assume that Randall launched missiles at the two warring east coast republics and not Texas or California because the east coast was by far the most politically fragile part of the continent, and thus the easiest target for US forces to retake. Maybe they figured that once the eastern half of the continent was back in US hands, the rest would fall back into line fairly quickly?

I bet it won't be that easy though.

Have you seen the trailer for season 2?

it looks like they may turn the power back off, I really hope that's not the case, I kept looking for signs of power in all the clips after they were shouting at Aaron to turn the power back off but I couldn't see any

I haven't seen the trailer, so I'm not sure I should be opening that spoiler box.

If you don't want to watch the trailer then don't open the spoiler. I wish I hadn't seen it, it gives a lot away and leaves you with many questions.

Questions I'm sure I'll have come September anyway. :slol:
