Out of both.

I had 77 on a 456 flop push on flop as big enough pot guy tanks for what felt like hours and calls with 99 gg!

Was doing really bad in the Wembley Day1. Started with 5k and after losing with QQ v 33 early on I was stuck on about 2k for ages. Finally build it up to 4k and then get this hand:

Image

That put at me 10k, then I won a couple of small pots to get to 13k, average is 9k.

Whatever chips you finish with gets carried over to Wembley, so I don't want to win a seat if I've only got a quarter of the average. It'll be interesting to see how people play on the bubble (if I get that far).

50% chance now of going to Wembley. 29 seats and 58 players left. I have 25k which is exactly average.

Update: 40 left. I did have a nice stack but just lost TT v 44 all-in pre against a short stack, now I'm a bit below average...

Update: 34 left. Places 33 - 30 get 300EUR, Places 29+ get Wembley Day2 worth 3000EUR.
Average stack for Wembley day 2 will be 50k, I'm currently at 42k, so that'll do if I can keep it.

I'm off to Wembley!!!

I take 41,740 chips with me to start. Average starting stack will be 50,000. Blinds begin at 100/200 and levels last an hour, so that's plenty to work with.

Plus, I had another day1 ticket, which I don't need now and can convert into 300EUR :D

You are so sick Gaz!

Very well done mate. Next time there's a high value tournament like that, I'll get involved. It's just crying out for entries.

It is insane how much value the satellites are. I won my €3,000 seat from a €3 satty which I was given for free anyway.

I did pay £25 in addons during both €30 sattys, but the €300 refund I get for not playing the second one puts me at €240 profit before I even get to Wembley.

Some of these satellites aren't even getting enough players to run. There was one a couple of days ago that cost €3 and guaranteed 100 seats into the €30 satty. It only got 80 runners and they had to cancel, over 100 and it runs.

Is this is on Will Hill through iPoker? Might start looking into them if so.

You have to use the Dusk Till Dawn software, which is also an iPoker skin. When you register you get a free ticket for a €3 satellite.

Day 2 chip counts are posted here as people get through. Currently 43rd out of only 78.

It's likely that the overlay will be 200 - 500,000 euros, so some massive deals if you can make it to the final table.

Just finished 5th in a Zoom tourney (I seem to have the hang of those).

Had JJ in the BB, tight guy (has me covered) min raises under the gun. 7 People left. Guy who is good but loose-ish shoves over (i have him covered), so I go over. Tight guy tanks, then calls.

I have JJ, Loose-ish has JJ, tight guy has QQ :x

I'd just, a couple of hands ago, folded to the same guy who, after I called a shortie all in with 88 went over with JJ. Some people get all the cards at the end  Still, $119, and I should definitely be doing some work, and am not!
