I think I'm going to try and create an Open Face Chinese Poker app for Android.

I've only ever made 'hello world' before on Android but how hard can it be? :shifty:

Drum and I have one but is that only for iPhone/iPads etc? If so, do it!

There isn't one for Android yet, but there is an incredibly popular one for iPhones and they are developing an Android app, but if you got in there first...

I doubt I can get in there first as I know a couple of other people are also developing some android apps, but it'll be good programming experience. I might actually program it in Python first as I know that better, and then look at creating an Android App.

If I get it working then I also wonder if I could develop a program to run a few million hands and find some good strategy? :shifty:

And then scoop us all for even more than you did. I can't wait for the next meet where I'll have to win the final tournament just to break even after playing OFC with Gaz.

I've played some HU on the app and it seems a little tougher to make hands as I'm more inclined to go for a safer spread because I can see less cards throughout due to less opponents. I'm not actually sure if that's the case though.

Hellmuth tweeted that he lost 84 points to Matusow in 4 hands before quitting.

So continuing from my rant about pokerstars the other day, as soon as I deposit 20EUR, I start raking in the money again, and in two days I go from 26$ (thats the conv. to dollars of course) to 75$... I make hands out of nothing, the cards just come to me.... well, now I am scared to cash out, so Ill try and see if this lucky streak continues :shifty:

I found this free online book that might be useful for some:

http://www.pokerstars.net/poker/promotions/americas-cup/leenelsonebook_letsplay.pdf

Lee Nelson is the same author who wrote Kill Phil and Kill Everyone, both are highly regarded so this might also be a good read.

Tonight the Sunday Million has a guarantee of $7M in prize money!

There's a $11 satellite an hour before with at least 1000 seats.

I wish I didn't have work :x

Edit: In other news, that dodgy Wembley tournament that is still going ahead, is now being backed by Dusk til Dawn with 1M EUR guaranteed for the winner.

Just got knocked out of a tournament with friends by the one of the worst calls I have ever seen! I shove under the gun for 16BBs with A-10 - and another guy calls me for his whole stack - also 16BBs - with K-5. :| I can't even fathom the logic.

Did literally everything right last night at live poker and still busted in 7th :fp: Ended up shoving with 15BB with AKhearts and got a call from 910hearts. Hit my ace on the flop. He hits runner-runner 9s for trips.

Same guy who I should have busted earlier. Had him all in with Q7 hearts and I had AK off - I'd hit king on flop, he'd hit 7. He shoved, I called. He hit queen on river.

It's quite sick really.
