Its actually the Easter weekend which certainly makes it more complicated. I also have to see the girlfriend, and have a birthday to go to on the Easter Sunday. It might be easier to do it another weekend sans free house.

Nice. Do we need to be members of something to register for the next time they run a tournament?

Sign up for a regional online team is the best way.

Congrats DML!
I tried to rail when you were down to about 20 players but I couldn't login to WH so I was only able to see the lobby, and I had to be up early for work so I didn't stay for long. Looked like you were in good shape though, so glad to hear you won.

As much as I'd like to: a) £500 is WAY out of my bankroll, b) Stoke and Wales are much to far to go to play poker.

Only 75 quid in apat, and Cardiff is about 4 hrs from Brighton. Not that bad really.

I tried playing APAT when they came to Brighton but apparently it was 'sold out'.

Obviously because there is only so much room in a casino and its a very popular tour. You need to buy a seat roughly within 24 hrs of it going up. They should go on sale after the Coventry tournament finishes this weekend.

I don't like Zoom poker any more. :x

I just suddenly can't win any big pots. If I hit a monster then either everyone folds or someone else has the nuts and takes all my chips.

One hand I raise UTG and it folds to BB who re-raises me, and I call. Flop is JT7 rainbow and I check hoping to trap him. He bets four times the pot, which is about 1/2 of his stack!! The only hand beating me is 89 so I put him all-in, and of course he has 89o. :fp:

There are so many hands like that where you have the 2nd nuts, but someone else has the actual nuts and plays it so badly that you can never put them on it.

Edit: I just remembered another hand where I made a 7x re-raise pre with AJs against a couple of limpers and get one caller. Flop is 64J with a flush draw for me, but I end up losing a big pot because the other guy had 64o.

Came 52nd/5050 odd runners in the Big $8.80 yesterday. First place is $6.3k. Blinds at 1.8k/3.6k. I have a 198k stack. The table is quite active.

There's a mid position raise to 10.1k and a call from the cut off. I shove from the SB with JJ into a 36k pot. Original raiser calls with 88 and other player folds. Board comes 2J9TQ. I think I almost fainted. strawberry float donks.

The following is CONFIDENTIAL and not for redistribution.
You are receiving this because you have an existing rakeback deal at WH.
If you have any questions please see contact details below

Because of the rise of illegal deals at other rooms on the network we have restructured our deal with WH to offer you the following from April 1st 2012

$0+ rake = 50% Rakeback
$2,500+ rake = 55% Rakeback
$5,000+ rake = 60% Rakeback

In addition you will also be eligible for our exclusive $20,000 iPoker rake race which tends to be worth an extra 12% on average (based on March so far)
http://www.pokerloyaltyprograms.com/lea ... -race-1341

We hope this will encourage a return for most of you to William Hill in April

If you have any questions please email
help@raketherake.com

Kind regards

RTR

50% Rakeback

Yeah got this too. Don't think they'd joke with stuff like this. Surely doing so would massively psis of people that earn them money. I don't think they'd play with that. Also it's March 31st?

Anywho means I might need to play cash. Sniffer btw when are we going alton towers? Need to tell other people to come. Aaron got a job so he won't be coming LOL.

This afternoon I tried to get my revenge at Zoom poker. It didn't really go very well but I was determined not to let it beat me:
