Was down to 8BBs having been through the blinds twice with a short stack. In the BB I got 9-7 and checked. Flop came 10-7-6, I shoved and got two callers, 10-2 and A-7 ..... 10-2 held.

The highlight was someone calling off an entire 200BB starting stack with J-2 pre-flop for reasons beyond my understanding. It didn't win.

Oh yeah, for some reason I had it in my head that this was just the team game. Still definitely up for it.

Follow up R.E the Goliath- the dates are 18th-25th, which means it starts on a Friday and ends the following Friday. How does this effect the schedule for when we need to play? (Because last year wasn't it Wed/Thu/Fri qualification, Sat Day 2, Sun Day 3?)

Does 18-25 include side events or just main ?

Hopefully ill be booking 19th to the 24th and once I know what starting day I'm playing I can unbook soon days.

Is this a re-entry ? If not ill probably want to play the last day 1.

Not sure. They'll need to release more info first...

It was a re-entry last year. I can't remember if it was just one re-buy per day or two though.

The Goliath is part of the GUKPT festival that tours the UK each year. Both years they have done the Goliath they have had Day 1a on Wednesday, 1b Thursday and 1c Friday in order so the tournament can culminate on Sunday. I don't imagine that will change at all for this year but don't hold me to it. If in doubt check the website/rest of the internet and if that fails then email the GUKPT directly to see if they can confirm the dates to you in writing.

I would offer to do it but my work blocks any sites that are even remotely related to gambling.

Wasn't it a bank holiday weekend last year, with the final table on Monday?

Disappointing line up for the PCA final table. Last few years it's been a decent watch.

Ya. Big names just missed out this year. Any of of Sabat or Mizrachi or Busquet or Charania would have given it some colour.

Pleased to see Cody do well with Team Pro so instantly.

Been on a horrible run bad over the last week, but I'm finally on a nice run. 138k in the Hotter $16.50. 41/247/7072 at the break. All railbirds welcome.
