And is the £100 event starting on the Weds or the Sat?

I pretty much live in Coventry and am now working, so I'm more than up for this.

3rd break, 5th out of 279. Currently 88% at Showdown. Feel it's partly luck but that I'm actually taking on board some of the advice from Sunday.

There are three day 1's: Wed, Thu, and Fri (you can play whichever of those you want). Then day 2 is on Saturday, day 3 on Sunday, and final table on Monday.

Do you know whether you will be able to provide us with updates on breaks etc?

61st out of 84 now after a stupid raise. Need to claw that one back. Still, learning a lot tonight I reckon.

Will everyone be meeting at the Ricoh, or in Coventry?

How did you get on with your tournament in the end?

Got a few dollars out of it, but that was it. Still, happy with how I did despite the poor play at the end. Shows I'm getting used to it all again.

This is all starting to go wrong. Been card dead for ages and whenever I try a bluff it doesn't work. :x

Yeah, particularly in the 4.40 one a couple have seemed to go awry. Hang in there though.

Out of the $5 in 24th.
I was down ten blinds and had nothing playable. Defended BB with K2s against a SB steal, they had JJ.

Out of the $4 in 108th.
Similar story, no cards so my stack was shrinking. Got it in with A6s in the end and ran into AKs.

Are there any good books about Poker worth reading that may help me improve?
