I spent like 4-5 hours swarm resetting to try and get a shiny Glaceon which I did on my 17th reset within 2 minutes of activating the shiny sandwich. Using the remaining time I went to an area where nothing but snowrunt spawns and found a shiny of him. I then moved to another swarm but I couldn't make a sandwich (bellsprout) and while trying to find one (I didn't) I managed to find a random Poochyena and a third shiny Ekans.

what do you want for the snorunt?

Do you still need a snorunt? I can trade you a spare shiny one I got. If you've got any spare shinies that you don't mind trading let me know and we'll trade for one :D)

Off the top of my head I have a spare shiny teddiursa and I think a roserade

I need either of those so if you do fancy trading one of those to me for the Snorunt let me know. :toot:

Yes please. What time and which game suits?

I'm free any time between 2:30 and 6PM. I don't mind whichever game - I think all of those Pokemon are in Scarlet/Violet so maybe there? If not we can trade directly via Home if I can work out how that works. :slol:

Thank goodness he’s in violet. How about 3?

Opened up a trade on Violet with the code 13371337

yup! I had another Teddiursa in home so I used an XP candy to evolve this one so now I've got both as shinies. :toot:

The Indigo Disk has been dated for 14/December! More than a month out, but it should be a nice thing to round the year out with.

Just hoping it's a bit longer than the teal mask, I did enjoy it though, performance issues aside. I wonder if they'll put its own version of Dynamax adventures in? Not looking forward to how awfully it performs in that aspect either.

Hisuian Typhlosion is back for the next couple of weekend, might try and catch it this time.

Seen a very (apparently) easy strategy for Hisuian Typhlosion, Dachsbun with flying press holding metronome, slam flying press till it’s dead by the looks of it.

Thanks to the Eevee heaven swarms I've managed to get 5 shiny eevees today. Just need one more to finish off my eeveeloution set in all premier balls :toot:

Two more if I want a normal eevee as well :shifty:

When does this Eevee outbreak run till? Kind of want a legit Shiny Umbreon (got traded a very clearly hacked shiny Eevee in Shield that I did evolve), don’t recall being a fan of any of the other Shiny Eeveelutions.

If you go online now to start the outbreaks, then go offline and stay offline it'll continue indefinitely (I found this with the clefairy one). It'll only turn off once you go back online (I did this with the clefairy one by accident) as it doesn't know to update your game until then.

In game you have to manually go online, so if you don't choose to go online it should last.

That's how it worked for me with the clefairy event at least.

Seven outbreaks ran through, and not a single shiny Eevee. But there was randomly a shiny Noibat that appeared. Then flew back to Paldea from Kitakami, and roughly five outbreaks later, I finally found a shiny Eevee. Today, I'm going to see about boosting my odds further with a shiny sandwich. Maybe then, the ghost-white Eevees will be lining up to be caught by me.

Interesting about the harder bosses. I wonder if there's anything Cynthia level.

Well, now. Competitive-level teams even for standard trainers? I have a feeling my Umbreon-Espeon duo might finally have a challenge.

BDSP Cynthia was great, those remakes didn't do much right nor wrong (far too honest as a remake) but the Gym Leaders and Cynthia were really good as long as you didn't massively over level your party, even with a party of level 68 ish (thinks that what mine was, or around that anyway) Cynthia was still a challenge.

This is the kind of thing that Pokemon needs as a hard mode. Turn off Exp share, IV/EV trained trainers all over, the only thing they might need to add extra is a function for the player to at least EV train their Pokemon from a very early stage, going up against a trained team with untrained stuff isn't ideal, but would add an extra level to the difficulty as well. Or as a stop gap, they could give the player all the training items from the off, with a selection of Pokemon on route 1 to cover all the 6 stats.

so what you're saying is the competitive crowd have ruined yet another game by whining they're not getting any challenge in a children's game?
