It looked intentional. There were a couple of balls played along the floor later in the video and the receiver just ran onto them without pausing.

On the PES 2012 demo it happened all the time when infact the player should run full pelt into the ball and knock it ahead of his stride.

Really early demo this year. Hopefully it's stepped up and can match Fifa.

They usually release demo's from 2 incomplete builds each year, both tend to be glitchy as hell.

When you play PES these days you feel all the parts are as good (if not better than FIFA) but theyre stitched together so badly that it ruins all the hard work Konami have done.

PES desperately needs the animation blending that FIFA has.

Also watched the YouTube trailers on TV wishing FIFA had those character models, they're perfect.

that still looks amazingly robotic, i really don't think konami can make a good football game anymore.

Feels a little slow/sluggish compared to FIFA, certainly smoother and less glitchy than last year.

Just had a quick match, it's not bad. I obviously need a lot more matches before I can judge it properly but at the very least I think it'll be better than last years version. Hard to say whether it'll top Fifa though - I can see why you say it feels a tad slow/sluggish compared to Fifa.

Loving the dynamic first touch and shooting in this. Playing in 'Pitchside' view is a must.

It's much better than last years version. I really enjoyed it, plays a much slower game than Fifa but the animations etc seem to have came on a lot.

Still missing something though, some of the movement is still robotic and whats with the refs booking you for any tackle you make?

You must have been seriously unlucky I had two games and only got booked once and I was blatantly fouling players and hacking people down before they even received the ball

That is one thing I do like about this PES, there does seem to be a lot more animations this time round. Passing is still a bit hit and miss at times though.
