There's still something weird about how keepers dive. It's like they're going to catch the ball but it just bounces off them.

k.p. boateng is not bald and I also dont like the fact that milan win in that video

it just looks more clunky and mechanical every year! i'm sure it's probably not, but compared to the fluidity of the movement in fifa it just gets harder to look at each time...

Those A.I videos look very promising, but the gameplay ones don't look that different last year. TBH I thought both games were a bit gooseberry fool last year, one thing that has to be said is that the passing in Pro Evo was much better - if they sort out the AI, the shooting and the refs it could be better than FIFA.

My brother is apparently getting this for 360 so I guess I'll go try it out round his house and see what it's like.

PES 'preview build' demo this Wed:

Konami will release two playable demos for PES 2012, the first of which is to arrive this Wednesday.

Hitting PS3, Xbox 360 and PC on August 24, the first demo will be based on a preview build of the game. It'll allow players to get to grips with the title's new teammate control elements "and experience the realism that Active AI brings to PES 2012".

The demo will "showcase the individuality of the many teams in the game" by allowing users to play ten minute matches with Manchester United, AC Milan, Porto, Napoli, Santos and C.A. Panarol. It'll also feature Challenge Training elements that enable you to practice the game's new control systems.

The publisher said: "The first PES 2012 demo will not be truly representative of the final game, so Konami will issue a second free demo reflecting the final version's feel and gameplay in mid-September for the same formats. This will also offer 10-minute matches, but with a different team roster of Tottenham Hotspur, FC Bayern Munich, FC Internazionale Milano, Rangers FC, Club America and Sport Club Internacional."

European PES Team leader Jon Murphy added: "We have spoken a lot about the new additions to PES 2012, and now we want users to see it for themselves... We truly value the support and input of our user base - and these demos are so they can see how their help has aided the most ambitious PES to date."

Why release a beta demo so early? Surely it'll be full of bugs that'll no doubt put off unsuspecting players.

The Gamescome videos seem positive, there seems to be alot more freedom of movement and reaction compared to PES 2011. Seems to feel more organic and loose allround like FIFA 10, without going over the top with it like FIFA 11.
