Konami has detailed an "upcoming" patch for PES 2012.
Goalkeepers have been improved and are now better at stopping balls from long shots.
You can search for opponents based on pass support settings, which will replace Friendly Match or Player Match (depending on version) in Quick Match mode.
The Speed Star skill card has been tweaked to improve realism.
There's a wee list of bugs that have been fixed below. Konami has also solved some game-freezing and hanging problems in the Online and Become a Legend modes, as well as while selecting Game Plan combinations.
Bugs fixed:
Issues with one or more players given a red card in a match, but 11 players available after loading formation
In the myPES application, we have corrected the situation where a draw result is given after win/lose on the penalties
Occasionally meaningless numbers were appearing when accessing the Community menu from the Community Card list
Formation data in the Formation settings on the Game Plan screen can only be saved from the P1 controller
Game data can be saved/loaded for both sides if you exit the Data Management menu while your opponent is saving/loading the game data and then enter the Data Management menu again on the Game Plan screen

Still not fixed the players randomly stopping when running in a straight line bug then?

I tried to pretend it was like the new injury feature in FIFA 12, but when it happens nearly everytime you sprint with a player there's just no getting over it.

Not noticed that in over 10 hours of playing the game.

Saw you playing this yesterday mate - is it any good? (I was a Konami man from ISS 98 through to PES6, then moved to FIFA. Never quite settled with it.)

Might try and pick it up for cheap in the New Year if you think it's worth a shot (and getting better, apparently).

Same with me, PES6 was the last game I fully enjoyed in the series, but this year has clicked for me, it's no second coming or anything but it plays a great game of football and sticking the difficulty up really brings the game to life in Master League.

Online is pretty special too

Have you been playing the Xbox version? I don't know why but it's only present in the Xbox version and i have to say, especially when dealing with AI on higher levels, it actually can make the game unplayable but you can't dribble properly, you can't chase after the AI proper and on the higher levels the AI are pretty damn clinical. They claimed they were going to fix it way back in November but there's been zero mention of it in this patch details which is concerning.

No on PS3, the only thing I have noticed is that the keepers are insane on higher difficulties. They charge out the box and don't judge the game very well, much to my annoyance when I conceded a late equaliser through no fault of my own :x
