I always played that flash game where you fly the little ship through the never ending maze of triangles. That was boss.

The only requirement is that it lets you play in your own time, it doesn't constantly move ahead and will just sit and wait for you until you next click on it. I'd like a game that doesn't require you to have sound on too if possible.

Anyone got any recommendations?

Defcon has a special "work mode" where you double tap a key and it minimises to the system tray and sets the game speed to minimum or paused if it's single player.

It's usually called a "boss key".

Defcon is practically intended for office enviroments. It actually has a mode intended to be played over the eight hours or so of a work day.

And as it approaches half nine I can start to put gams on my PC, that I finished building today, thanks to Virgin's fair use policy. Might actually get to play more than just minecraft tomorrow. What a novelty.

"Following Valve's success with the Mann vs Machine mode, where we placed Left 4 Dead inside of Team Fortress 2, we're adding some other modes to Team Fortress. The next update will see Counterstrike Game modes become available as MonkeyBullet, where you have to save Poopy Joe's rocket from being blown up or save Joe and Vladimir Bananas from being held hostage.

Next is our new MOBA mode called Defense of the Henchmen, where players..."

I saw a really good writeup on the gardening dad forum, looks like they've taken it down for now though.

I put up a TF2 co-op server but it's constantly full since there's no L4D2 style group only server private options.

Also coming soon to TF2: http://optf2.com/tf2/item/851

Wanted to pop on for a quick game this morning. Was in a queue with an estimated waiting time of 41 minutes.

It's a fine idea, one I always support, but kicking pubbies doesn't work because the servers are so rammed people just immediately refill.

I could password the server, and then any 6 of us could play, but the game won't start till there's 6 people. Would people be up for that tonight?

strawberry floating garbage unbalanced TF2. I uninstalled it on the day I played it with Karl and Falsey. Wish I'd known earlier about the TF2 update, but o well, I'll reinstall if PCS crew actually think it's any good.

For balanced team based multiplayer shooter, there's nothing left is there? There's nothing else left out there except for CSS, everything else is pay to win or an unbalanced mess.

While I won't personally be playing, that seems like the most sensible idea for those who wish to.
