Advertising and trying to avoid clashes with F1 would probably help a lot too of course.

Hey, the London track goes inside a building.
Let's see F1 top that.

Fighting in a country with missile strikes going off? I know FE races in the same country but don’t think they’ve actually had live missile strikes going off in a session :capnscotty:

How does that beat a driver being able to order a drive through coffee mid race?

He’d have gotten away with it to if it wasn’t for those pesky kids!

I’d actually forgotten the Mercedes was shown off with side pods at the start of last year too :shifty:

Remember Horner shitting himself that they'd hidden a huge advantage when they switched to the zero sidepods, and was crying about it being illegal?

Then they quickly shut up about them once they saw the lack of performance from Mercedes…..

Wonder how much it’ll be focused on in Drive to Survive, I’ve also seen Max is oddly back for this series of it too

I can't stand dts so I won't be watching. I have enough Horner pouting just before the race starts without a series of it.

Unless there's a meltdown episode about the budget cap break :shifty:

I actually found the first couple of series weren’t that bad, they weren’t great but still a bit of fun to watch a recap of the previous season of F1. Series 3 went the other way from what I remember, proper going all in on the drama, real or fabricated and subsequently I never even bothered about series 4, might give series 5 a go for an episode or 2 before binning it off.

I do appreciate it has brought a lot of new fans to the sport though, which considering how they seem to be pushing paid only channels for watching it live, new people interested in it are what they wanted. On the other hand, a lot of these new fans are absolute morons on social media which definitely has not been good for the sport, it used to be fun to follow the sport on social media but now it’s constantly a made up fight between various fan bases.

Maybe can't stand is a bit harsh, it's a very good show, just too fabricated for my liking.

Rumours circulating that Gulf is going to be a sponsor for Williams next year. I really hope they make a small step this year, Williams is one of the teams I always want to see do well.

It’d be great seeing a Gulf livery for a full season, the one off Monaco 2021 one was great.

The first big motorsport race of the year is taking place right now the Dubai 24 hours. It's going to be a busy few months for big endurance races between now and March

After Dubai is the Daytona 24 hours, the first race with the new LMDH cars convergence with IMSA & the ACO. Then there is the Bathurst 12 hours at the start of February (3rd-5th) & then in March (15th-18th) is the 12 hours of Sebring

He did spin out, I watched a bit of it till they had a red flag for connection problems, I’m sure they’ve had similar problems the previous couple of years too, all using RF2, not sure why they don’t try iRacing for a change.

Pretty sure WRC is back next week as well.

Never really watched WRC before, but I've bunged them a tenner to go through their video content this month so gonna give it a go and see if I like it.
