Nintendo has some really big franchises, and one day I'd like to have played all the games in the holy trinity. I've played a lot of the games but I get distracted and often move on to othe things, so this year I'd like to make more of an effort to catch up and complete some games from the main franchises.

I really enjoy talking about videogames but my playing skills are minimal. I was *hugely* enjoying working through Zelda Skyward Sword but I'm stuck as I cant beat Scaldera, the fire boss.

I've played many of the games you've listed, Hyper', but the first level or two is my progression point in most. I'm amazed at how speedily many GRcaders get through games. My biggest gaming accomplishments in recent years have been completing Fallout 3 (with all DLC) and VVVVVV (core mission). I will return to Skyward Sword; I guess I'll need to persevere more. I'll ask you for tips when I'm back into it, Hyperion!

Don't ask me for tips for Skyward Sword, I haven't finished it. I went back to it yesterday, which was what inspired this list, but the wiimote wasn't working.
As I said I'd like to complete the Zelda's then maybe the Metroid's

'cos he talks the talk but doesn't walk the walk.

Get it sorted. Maybe then you'll realise what a disappointment the Wii-U has been up til now.

Except Earthbound finally getting a Euro release. That was pretty sweet.
