I still think Treehouse is a great idea but the execution has been iffy for a while. The same is probably true of Nintendo's E3 as a whole to be fair...

Dread is probably the only thing that really got me excited personally, looks really strawberry floating good and a new 2D Metroid is exactly what the Switch needs!

Other than that... nothing too exciting. Was good to get a further glimpse of BOTW2 and I do like the look of Monster Hunter Stories, but that's about it for me I think

So no Switch Pro yet then?

Seeing the name Dread legit threw me off holy heck lol. Never thought we'd ever actually see it. Overall solid show. Surprised it took this long for a Tekken rep too. BotW 2 looks glorious and I legit teared up seeing the Skyward Swork Dive element lol. Can't wait to see people be speculating over this for another year.

They have Shin Megami Tensai V and Pokemon remakes. That's all you'll be getting.

Oh well, it's not going to be a bad year - just not the full recovery it arguably should have been after the drought of 2020.

Still no new system added to NSO, today would have been a great time to add GBA to put the Metroid and Zelda games on it.

Also, During the Zelda section her mentioned no other Switch Zelda plans were being planned, guess that puts shot to Wind Waker and Twilight Princess coming over which is a massive shame. Seems weird they are not doing more to put the old games on the system for the anniversaries.

I ain't complaining about more Treehouse, but... didn't they say only three hours? I'm guessing the second play of Metroid Dread is the last game, but we've been going an hour extra than what was stated.

I was a bit disappointed in the immediate aftermath as I didn't feel like there was much new announced that really excited me. I know Metroid Dread is a huge thing, but... I don't really like 2D games. Advance Wars is something I love, but it being a remaster was a bit deflating.

However, after thinking about it, there was plenty of stuff there I'm definitely going to buy, even if they didn't seem particularly exciting announcements at the time. Super Monkey Ball and Danganronpa will be great to have, and I'll likely pick up Fatal Frame too, as I'm sure one day my Wii U will die and there's probably not enough of them out there for it to be cheap to pick up a new one in a few years time.

Overall that was a brilliant E3 for Nintendo, so much great stuff to look forward to :toot:
