We'll get another big smash character reveal I imagine on Tuesday

Not sure why people hate the directs really, they deliver the same information just in a more controlled video presentation. Sure, you miss the crowd reactions but other than that I don't see the problem

The build up vid was so good I think they will be doing the best they can to get more humour out of it. Last year was much drier then I expected.

I've no objection to them mentioning smash of course, long as it doesn't dominate the whole show.

While I agree as I'd prefer it not to dominate, I can't help but feel Smash is going to be the centrepiece for their E3.

This is at 0130hrs Adelaide time, but luckily I'm a part time parent so will of course be up and watching live. I'm going to shy away from the internet until it's finished though so I can form my own opinions on things.

In terms of content, I've made my predictions in the bingo thread but I don't think we will see much of Zelda U as it will take the sheen off of Hyrule Warriors. The last thing they want to do is take any attention from a game, which despite the Zelda name is anything but a traditional Zelda game. I feel we will get a lot of media for Zelda U once Hyrule Warriors is out in the wild.

Oh god imagine if people mistake hyrule warriors for the new zelda game :dread:

That new zelda looks gooseberry fool m8.

Hyrule Warriors is nothing more than a stop gap game. Couldn't careless about it over a brand new mainline Zelda regardless.

Being reported the conference is going to be 30mins long.

Now this could be the best 30 minute conference condensed into nothing but goodness but then it could just be a lot of no shows.....

Even if it is 30 minutes (which I doubt, I seem to remember 30 minutes floating around for last years prior to it happening), they still have shed loads of time with the Treehouse, Round tables and Nintendo Minutes, so everything they will show in the direct will get expanded on. I'm not concerned.

People are just using the NicoNico placeholder time that they put on everything before they know the exact length and jumping to conclusions.
