I thought that was the case. Are they only going mental for arctic edge being available due to it enabling homebrew?

Sony is probably gearing up for the PS Now service, so they're attempting to add more PS1/PSP titles.

Anyone who hasn't picked up OlliOlli in the Easter sale needs their head examining.

£110 for it with the 32 and 8GB memory cards and a case. Sold it to someone at work.

I bought OlliOlli, Tlk or tlx or strawberry float knows whatever it is and Spelunky. I've played a bit of that three letter game and i'm rubbish at it so don't like it much, and played so much OlliOlli my Vita has run out of battery, twice. In three days. So good.

TK Maxx isn't as good as Tempest, even though the hardware is 30 years old. The interface isn't as good and you can't replicate the sheer awesomeness of the sound from the Tempest arcade machine. Some originals just can't be bettered.

I would wager a lot of gamers have never played Tempest. I'm not a fan of TxK either, just doesn't click with me at all, removed it from my Vita after a few days. Agree with OlliOlli, easily one of the most addictive Vita games I have. Similar to Trials im that it's as much fun as it is infuriating.

I haven't played Tempest.

And I'm over 35 years old. 8-)

That is because you'd have only been about 4 when the arcade machine first came out and wouldn't be able to have reached the controls.

Well, that's true.

But I must have played arcade machines that's a lot older than I am during the 80s.

I'd never played Tempest either (35 and a quarter) and TxK is struggling to click with me. Or vice versa.

Music plays a huge part in Tempest, doesn't it?

So it could just a borefest for a deaf gamer. Hence I didn't bother with TxK.

Tempest has no music, just awesome sound effects. I think you are right though, it wouldn't have the impact without the sound. The Asteroids arcade machine would also suffer without sound.
