They FINALLY nerfed the dynamo roller's fling attack.

I did good? Team was rekt next match.

I'm tired now. I can't get out of A-. It's usually a lack of defense or 1 bad team mate (including me). Splat zones on Moray Towers is horrible. Why did they split it into 2 zones? It's insanely hard to recover now. Unless the number of zones scales with rank. I think they've also added little bars on the mesh platforms so you can't throw suction bombs from them.

I'll wait for the maps to rotate and have another go later.

Course! That first match, you came first. The second match, the rest of your team was rubbish.

I like the way Moray Towers has changed to the ranked version for Turf war.

It's much more interesting sure. Maybe I'm just finding it too difficult at this level. I still absolutely loathe rollers especially in small areas.

And people who stack defense attributes. I got 40 yeahs when I specifically suggested hounding Dynamo Rollers, that is easily the weapon with the most overdue nerf ever.

Btw I found this site for checking map rotations http://splatoon.ink

Just got matched with a strawberry floating level 18 in A-

Edit: the matchmaking is so strawberry floated in this sometimes. 3 level 50s with the same special weapon versus 40 and below.

Motion controls > no motion controls

Although it takes a while for them to settle in. Hope you are enjoying the game! It's my personal favourite from this gen.

I've only dont two battles so far but its good. I have the motion off at the moment as I just can't move aim and know what is going on on all at the same time whereas with using a thumb stick I'm a bit more able to do things (stil suck but this the same for any game where some aim is required)

I use analogue on high sensitivity. I don't use sniper weapons or anything. Worst thing that ever happens is going round in circles with people but I find it hilarious when someone using motion controls literally mimics the appearance of spinning around pointing a Wii U gamepad at the ground trying to hit me in the ink around their feet. So there are pros and cons. Physical movement is accurate, but slow. If you are good at twitch controls, analogue is fine. I wouldn't recommend it for accurate weapons.

Accuracy has never been my thing, in any game I am a point in the general direction shoot and hope kind of a player, which is why I die a lot :D
