If you press start while over the game icon, one of the options should be manage content. It’s in there.

Also looks like if you’ve played on PC, it remembers your controls and you’ll need to reset controls to get it to work.

Seems like the servers are getting hammered. I can't even get to the main menu on the PC version.

Working fine for me but the market is being a bit rubbish.

Hmm, So I'm now getting an error message on PC saying I need the base game to download the flying hospital.

Enjoyed what I managed to play earlier, but had numerous crashes etc. Hopefully things will improve over the next couple of days. Just running through the training at the moment.

Yep. What a balls up. Fancied a go on this tonight. Currently 40% after 1hour. So I cleaned house on the internal hd to preload for not much.

Is it just me or does the second training exercise seem totally bugged? Just tells me No Objectives

Edit: Turns out I have to pause and unpause twice to advice the tutorial by one line each time. :lol:

Passed straight through the Shard, flew through Tower Bridge, and crashed into Big Ben. A satisfactory first evening.

The download speeds of this update are abysmal. I thought it was just me but a lot of people are having this issue.

I also like where it says the download is 22.92GB but when you start to download it is in fact 40.20GB.

It spends a lot of time downloading, either in the background, or when it does world updates. None of the updates are shall either.

It’s decent when it’s going and it’s a different type of game, but yeah… downloads aren’t well optimised.

There is unoptimised and then there is .02Mbits/s for an hour.

Bleary eyed from extensive globe trotting last night along with my daughter. She crashed a few times but we had an absolute blast flying over were we live, New York, Tokyo, Hawaii, Minnesota, Canada....the downloading of content packs and having to be in the game is stupid, I have a Series S and X on at home right now downloading all the free packs. My daughter just loves it, she will no doubt be getting further into it while I'm in work, she really needs to work on those landings though :lol:

I'm averaging around 85 FPS on high settings at 1440p with the new optimisation update. Game runs so much better.

Woop! Hadnt realised it was out! Downloading now! Haven't played it in months since I heard it was coming!

Haven't been to London yet but I've experienced next to no hitches on Series X bar going past the statue of liberty in New York, I think it was a broadband hitch too..not performance related...

I had a few disconnects, but wasn't kicked out at any point, so that's good. I'd have liked a bit more of a "welcome" experience, guiding new users through what's on offer, instead of throwing everything at you at once.

Oh for strawberry floats sake, a mandatory update of 1Gb followed then by a mandatory update of 40Gb! How big is this flipping game on the PC! It's already 105Gb without this patch! :fp:

About the same on Xbox. 40GB for the game, and 60GB for the offline stuff. So you've basically got to download the whole base game again!

Yeah, the menu's etc are clunky AF.

I did not download the offline stuff, it's a waste of space. The base game got an 18.39gb update my daughter kicked off when she tried the game at 4, by the time I was home an hour and a half later I deleted it off my Series X, brought my portable SSD (not the official one) up to her Series S, popped a copy on that (took like 2mins) and transferred it to my Series X and we both were in - that initial load time though... :dread:
