Reviews of the 2nd season:-
Masters Of Sex has emerged from its slumber with an opening salvo of episodes that quietly and deftly unpack that selfsame performance; as its men are compassionately exposed to be charlatans and liars, its women work around the men, picking up the pieces of discarded costumes.
Masters and Johnson's work was all about bringing sex in its infinite varieties out into the open. The psychological richness of Masters of Sex positions it to be a worthy successor to the fast-fading (except in Emmy voters' eyes) Mad Men.
Just when the summer TV landscape was beginning to look a bit bleak, here comes cause for celebration: the return of Sex. And the best news is that this intelligently complex, beautifully shot and performed series comes back in top form, with a perfect match of style to substance that explores Masters' and Johnson's (the equally superb Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan) different reactions to his appearance at her doorstep.

First two episodes were really good. The boobs were fine but there was a disappointing lack of willy, flaccid or otherwise. And Masters himself is a bit of a twat.

Automatically assumed this would be on Sky since it's a new American show but was pleasantly surprised to see it starts on channel 4 in a few weeks. I'm not interested enough to pirate it but I'll definitely be watching it on TV.

Another very good 2nd episode. Made even better by how much I enjoyed the supporting characters especially the main prostitute and the wife. Looking like a gem amongst the mostly terrible new shows.

Thought the first episode was good, so did the missus. All moved on quite quickly, kept it interesting episode 1 straight in there with the tits out and many sex experiments!
Got me a bit steamy actually... did not have the same effect on the missus

Another lovely 3rd ep. Shame as I assume that's the last we'll see of Betty. I did have thoughts that the baby could be the young docs out of revenge but surely the timescales don't fit.

Yet again, a very good episode. A 5 month time jump which could be a regular feature considering the length of the story. Good to see some background of the main cast. Apparently the next 2 eps are the best of the opening 6.
