Has anyone had the chance to use Galactus yet? What an absurd card, so fun to use. The animation too!

I got it as one of those 0 cost level 6 cards for filling up a zone. Destroyed all the other cards but ai had nova and wolverine down so it powered him up and wolverine joined him :D

Had someone user it on me once when I was comfortably winning on turn 6. Obviously because it was a new card I had no idea what it did on reveal.

What the hell :?
What the hell
WHAT THE HELL

Logged out of the game and was straight onto WhatsApp moaning to my friend about it - he plays so at least he knew what I was talking about :slol:

naughty bob humbug wrote:Man! Had a real bad run thanks to the places being a right pita. I had one which gave out a random card which... PLAYED ALL MY CARDS FOR ME  Although that match I somehow managed to win :fp:

Agatha strawberry floating Harkness :x - drew her randomly once and on turn six she refused to play my Hulk card and played a 2-power card instead, costing me the game :fp:

Starting to match up with better players now. Having some real close games where it's been decided by a point or two on the last turn. Great stuff.

Same.

I find the games that are too close a bit annoying though. Some are basically decided on a coin flip as to which zone you place your card in.

I've noticed a lot of people using devil dinosaur decks, if they manage to play moon girl before DD and get 2 of them in their hand as well as the doubling of all their cards I'm not sure what exactly you're meant to do.

Nothing can really compete with 2 x 5 cost 15 power cards they can basically do nothing the first 4 turns and then get that combo and win

Shang chi seems like the only counter but I haven't unlocked him yet.

Also, in regards to Galactus his ability only works if there are no friendly cards there, he's only 3 power. So as long as you have at least 4 power in each location you will win. Unless they also have a Wolverine or something.

Galactus killed everything on both sides the time I encountered him.

I've been mixing Armor and the Destroyer for some quite apocalyptic wins lately.

It destroys all the zones but the one Galactus is in, pretty sure it doesn't destroy enemies on the other side, of the zone he's in or there'd be no counter if he revealed last.

Works well if I draw Bucky and Carnage early. Rescue is a great card as well.

Nice. I've got one similar to that but with some slightly different cards as I haven't unlocked Sabertooth etc yet.

I'm trying to refine my main deck

# (1) Elektra
# (1) Nightcrawler
# (1) Yondu
# (2) Carnage
# (2) Okoye
# (2) Scorpion
# (3) Doctor Strange
# (3) Hulkbuster
# (4) Jessica Jones
# (5) Gamora
# (5) Spider-Woman
# (6) America Chavez

Okoye has insane synergy with America Chavez and Scorpion. It's crazy how much difference -1 to the enemy and +1 to you can make.

# (2) Scarlet Witch
# (3) Mister Fantastic
# (3) Punisher
# (4) Spider-Man

Looks pretty good, lots of point multipliers

Anyone else think White Queen is a bit overturned? The effect combined with her power is super good.

I had this match this morning, what a banger, I laughed out loud when he also put Strange down

So this game is fun, good recommendation!

But it's almost too easy? I've progressed to level 16 on the season pass, and I've only lost once so far. People seem to play daft moves, clearly ignoring the best placed zone to place a card. I'm starting to question if it's actually against other online players, or are these bot games?

It's possible some are bots. But you're also playing new players, when you start you're matched against people who have the same cards as you, but the ranking system is also linear so you have to beat all of the lower ranked players before you get to gold/platinum etc.

What's your Collector Level? It's the little green number at the top of the main page. There are several pools which are basically divisions for the game - Pool 1 is level 18-214, Pool 2 is 222-474, and so on. Each of these divisions has a set of cards that you will unlock over your progression through that pool of the game. You'll only play people from your pool, so if you're level 150 you won't meet someone with far better cards than you from level 800. Basically if you're low on the Collection Level ladder you'll still be playing new players.

You don't progress up the ladder solely by winning games, you progress by upgrading cards (the boosters for which you largely attain through winning games). The purple Season Pass thing is going to reset on Tuesday at about 3AM as the current season is about to end. Completing the daily missions and seasonal missions are a great way of getting the blue currency which is the other thing you need to upgrade your cards and up your Collector Level.

And that's Go Johnny Go Go Go Go!

Thanks for the explanation! I am collector level 76, so still firmly in the first pool. But that's to be expected as I've only had the game downloaded for about 10 hours. I'll enjoy the noobs whilst I can!

I think the Gamma Lab (turn all cards into Hulk) must be the biggest red herring location. I don't even challenge for it now and just let the opponent waste 4 cards that will just be stuck there for turns 4 - 6

Better hope they don't have doctor strange, I like to use him to teleport hulks to a different location

But yeah, it's a an odd location, especially when people have Shang Chi. They can just obliterate 4 hulls with one card. Often not worth filling it up

Good to see that PvP is on the roadmap for this game. Will be fun to play against you lot.

I lived the pace of the unlocks when I first started playing, but it's much slower now. I bought a season pass. Fairly steep at £8.99, but I only paid a couple of quid in reality based on Google Play credits earned through surveys.
