This is looking better and better. Glad they've got it running at 60fps. Out at the same time as Watch Dogs though so it might have to wait. By the time I get to it the online will probably be dead.

Mario Kart Wii online was (if not still is) pretty active, I'm fairly sure MK8 online will stay active for good while.

Have to admit that looks pretty strawberry floating sweet. But FFS Nintendo; if your game runs beautifully at 1080p then at least offer that resolution in your trailer.

The game just looks amazing... that bit with Metal Mario flying along Rainbow Road with a parachute and flames . I really like the inclusion of the retro tracks that are updated with a swish coat of paint, too.

Apparently it's not 60fps in 3 and 4 player. Not that it particularly matters, I guess.

This does look so lovely. A genuine 'killer app.' Does anybody know how the online multiplayer will work, will it be possible to easily find strangers to race with?

Looks so good, I might just go all out and preorder the special edition bundle on Nintendo's store.

Hope we get some Battle Mode info soon, hoping for rule customisation so it can be played with 64 elimination rather than just being time based. That killed battle mode for me.

Can one player use the Gamepad, while another player has the full screen on TV? That'd be cool.

Doesn't look like it. Would make a decent patch update, though I hated being on the gamepad screen on Sonic Racing, looked awful.

How come? I thought you went with the strategy "hah, found my old vita in the drawer". Nothing wrong with "hah, left my old Wii U in the boot".

It's a long story... and not an interesting one. However, we're trying to remortgage so there's nae chance whatsoever that I can buy anything at the moment.

Besides, I'm waiting for the Wii U to hit that magical £30 price point.

It's looking great... although why the hell can't I play as Boo???
