You only need 1 star each cup, if you don't want to bother with 3-starring every cup. You just need to finish third or better on one of tracks when rest you have to get to first place. If you're 1st three times then place 3rd or better then you should get one star or better.

I personally don't like gold kart :shifty:

Is anyone bothering to complete the 50 and 100CC cups? I assume that of you get gold in a 150CC it automatically ticks off the 50 & 100?

Yup, you can jump straight to 150cc and get gold there - it'll count for 50cc & 100cc. I did this way and I never had to go into 50cc/100cc. Likewise with stars I earned in 150cc.

I won't recommend it though unless you've played lot of Mario Kart Wii & 7 - and I'd still say don't expect it to be breeze due to having no experience with any of tracks at all. Still it did give me some nice challenge and it cuts out repetitiveness.

Been enjoying the sun loads this weekend but will be on later tonight and all Monday night for some games .
