Started this not long ago and just watched the penultimate episode of S1 (Kennedy vs Nixon), been really enjoying it so far but does anyone else think it was totally unrealistic how Don could just steal someone's identity like that and for it never to become a problem? Did none of the soldiers Draper served with come to see him? Did he have a family? What about when Don got married/ his driver's license/ birth certificate etc? Seems like it would have had to have caused him a problem at some point.

There's been loads of mentions of suicide. Obviously in this ep we had the elevator and it being in Pete's insurance plus the title of this ep, Lazy Lazarus, is a poem about botched suicide attempts before the author suceeded. Off the top of my head we've had Don doodling a noose and talking about blowing his brains out along with Roger/Ginsberg chatting about jumping out the window. There's been more and maybe nothing but you never know. Pete would be the obvious candidate.

A good ep with any scenes involving Joan the highlight. Lane's money problems move into more serious issues but wasn't keen on the storyline involving the return of Paul. Don/Megan was a bit meh as well.

Latest ep S05E11 - Another magnificent episode. Pegggggggyyyy, nooooooo, hope we see her at her new job, one of my fave characters. Joan whores herself out for 5%, wow. Dons interactions with them both was amazing. At least they got Jaguar.

S05E12 - Another corker of an episode. So all those suicide clues ended up with Lane being the end result. Very sad scenes with a bit of comedy with the jaguar breaking down. Great speech from Don. Other than Sally running back to her Mum not much to the other stuff except the creator giving his son a job.

According to several news sites, Peggy is following in Sal and Kinsey's footsteps and is really off the show now that she has left Sterling Draper Cooper [s]Pryce[/s] Holloway. I thought we would be seeing her at her new company next season, but apparently not. Sad to see an interesting character go but I'm sure they'll find a way to make it work via the other storylines, because they always do.

0512: Lane Saw it coming, but it was still sad. Heard rumours of characters getting killed off for budgetary concerns. AMC had to pay out Matthew Weiner so much to keep him, so had to cut other areas or something. Shame that that's resulted in two characters leaving.

Well yeah, but I was thinking more of the people we see pretty much every episode that are very directly involved with the main story. Main cast.

Just watched the very first ep.
My free time, she is gone. The only downside was Kristen strawberry floating Schaal. Hate.
