I like the fact that the multiplayer rewards support play as much as just being a stone cold killing machine. I can quite often finish with the most points despite being tragically bad at shooting because I gift items and heal people.

As I have a week off work I've finally got time to catch up on some games I had bought over the last few months as well as the new PS4 and Xbox One stuff.

Something was telling me to put the new stuff down and get back to finishing off The Last of Us. I'm only 25% of the way though but I think it's genuinely one of the best games I've ever played. The only negative is the PS3's horrible controller. I wish I could play this with the PS4 pad!

But it need to be plugged in though.

I can control the PS3 menus with the DS4, but it doesn't want to know when I load a game.

Yeah it was confirmed by some gamers on other forums that DS4 does work with The Last of Us...

Just started playing this (with my Dual Shock 4 8-) ) and I have to agree that the opening Prologue was a right bastard moreso because I also have a daughter.

Very slow start admittedly, just saved outside the warehouse, so will see if I can stealth kill every mummy strawberry floater around me  It'll be interesting to see how the characters compare to Drake et al.

That's like comparing cows and chickens.

I don't have a PS4, but I'm really tempted to get a DS4. Hopefully Sony will release a patch to enable wireless/rumble/Home button.

Nope, as much as I want the console there's not a single game out yet that justifies the purchase. I'll wait for the real next gen games, not these current-gen ports.

I'm waiting on the Driveclub reviews, if they're good I'll pick on up then.

Dreamcast and PSP are the only systems I've ever bought at launch, because they were released at the right price and they had games worth playing (Soul Calibur and WipEout Pure).
