Pfft, everyone starts as dead weight.
Survivor Sunday thread, I believe you know that chalkitdown has recorded quite a few instances, and in one is when PeterCrisp debuts. Yeah, he barely knew what he was doing, so tagged along with me for most of the night while I explained strategies and playstyles. Doesn't take long to grasp it, though I would advise as a beginner that a Support class is the way forward, or perhaps Stealth. And just quit out of any match with absurdly high-level players, you'll get a buggering so firm you wont have any opportunity to learn anything. Scoping out the maps is the essential first action, once you've familiarised yourself you can start setting traps and other fun stuff. One of my favourite moments was in a game of Survivors, Herbi was constantly flanking around the map to get the drop on us, so I waited behind a wall for him. Sure enough, he ran right past me and I shivved the guy.
