I enjoyed most of Uncharted 1 & 2. They're just massively overrated, but I understand for a lot of people on here they are some sort of sacred cow developer against who there will be no negative opinions allowed. Once they actually produce some decent combat mechanics and concentrate more on creating a game that's more fun to play rather than watch, then maybe they'll deserve the praise they get.

I've seriously got to get used to the aim mechanic. I am gooseberry fool at it. Can you change it so that pulling the stick back goes up and pushing forward goes down, it feels counter-intuitive to me (wondering if that's a Zelda thing as I'm so used to Nintendo camera control?)

I think so.

I was terrible at aiming for ages, just standing there taking hits and not getting any off. Near the end I was headshotting with the bow from miles away in seconds

Can't wait to play it again. I played on normal so might just jump straight to the hardest next time as I loved uncharted 2 on crushing.

Are you trying to become less popular than Garry Glitter?

He brought it upon himself with such a heretical statement.

The Walking Dead isn't designed with gameplay in mind. If The Last of Us were to follow a similar approach, it would be a point and click adventure, not an action adventure game.

Joel will remember that.

TLoU definitely doesn't have anywhere near the impact that TWD does.

Because that is'nt what they were going for. TWD opted for the weepy ending while TLoU went for something darker. I loved TWD so don't read that as I didn't enjoy it. Oh and I think I've played more NG games which I wasn't keen on than those I was. Not biased, just teling it as I see it.

You certainly can. I don't think I could play a game that wouldn't let you invert the Y axis.

I clearly need to play this on a harder level.

Thanks, I'll go into the controls set-up tonight. I had it on Normal setting, and of course it was it Lego games style in that you regenerate and the other character carried on fighting for you so you still progressed, but I did "die" quite a few times

With all this discussion of the TLoU and its impact, if any, felt on players, I think it's only a matter of time before someone spoils it for Keith. So I suggest any further posts on the subject should be posted in the spoiler thread  http://www.grcade.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=34133

You will early on no matter how you have your controls set up.
