Cheers for the videos Kerr - I enjoy this thread so cool for keeping it active.

Have you seen either Coherence and British horror 'await further instructions'. I enjoyed both and they're worth checking out if you haven't already.

I'm not the biggest horror fan, but Coherence is really cleaver, disturbing and thought provoking. Up there with the best - worth checking out. Its on Prime :D

Being on Prime is a big help as I'm on prime, I'm on prime and Disney but dropped Netflix.

A video based on my recommendation - I feel validated. Great video as always Kerr (if I had a youtube account I would subscribe to you). Coherence totally is a horror though - disturbed the gooseberry fool out of me.

I've only recently got into horror. I'd always thought I disliked the genre, but got really enjoyed the Jordan Peele films, which are thought provoking but aren't that scary in the traditional horror movie sense (have you seen Get Out, Candy Man and Us) but acted like a bit of a horror gateway drug for me. There's some great horror movies - I really liked Hereditary, Midsummer and Saint Maud.

If you haven't seen it already - you have to watch 'the beach house' (2020). Most chilling film I've ever seen. I think its on Prime but costs a couple of quid rental.

I thought I'd reviewed either get out or us on YouTube not sure but I enjoyed them, I have seen the old candyman films but haven't seen the new one yet it's on my to watch list for sure , I will look up beach house and see if it needs adding to the list :)

For it worth I'd heavily recommend it, and you're best not knowing much (like I didn't) before going in. I haven't seen the trailler but I find traillers often make good films look crap or adolescent (In Brugge - one of my favourite films, has a trailer that is guilty of this), horror films tend to do this to get the teenage market. But The Beach House is really thought provoking and scary and will stay with you long afterward.

Thanks Barnsy :)

I can be quiet forgiving with some films, I think the Odds had some good in it but it really needed a harsher editing to sort the pacing out , it was a 45 minute idea stretched out really.
