I watched this a couple of days ago and all it did was make me binge through the UK version.

Check out my YouTube channel!

The Inbetweeners is about a British sixth form. Why they thought they could translate that to an American high school is beyond me :fp:

I always thought the point was that they were inbetween being kids and adults, not cool/uncool. :?

But yeah, looks shite.

I was mixed between laughing and then facepalming.

I'll probably watch it but it won't be a patch on our version.

I love the people that don't like the Inbetweeners but feel the need to enter into a thread about the show and then bother to post about it.

Good comedy is about timing, direction and delivery as much as the script itself. All this has is the latter.

No, the Inbetweeners is about that period in your life when you're not a child but you're also not an adult either. Hence 'inbetweener'. It happens to be set in sixth form, but I can't see why transposing it to high school wouldn't work. Should have been a no brainer really.

We are all going to pick the Inbetweeners movie for the Film Club.

Every single time there is a vote.

Forever.

The movie had Laura Haddock in, so is instantly better than any of the normal episodes.

To be fair, Americans probably don't understand the word "wanker", so it'll become "bus douche" or something equally imaginative.
