3rd Party development is still pretty much dead and again nothing actually at E3 has changed that.

Clearly you have misunderstood the question. It wasn't asking how E3 has changed things for Nintendo, more how has E3 changed your view on the Wii U, if at all.

Clearly you have misunderstood my answer. E3 hasn't changed anything for Wii U so it hasn't changed my view on the Wii U (obviously).

Even though the U has a growing stellar line up of games?

It's not changed how I feel about the the system at all.

I'd worried about the Wii U for a long time, but around the launch of MK8 I realised that there wasn't any need to be. Unless they have another Pokémon type franchise that just explodes out of no-where to rule the world, the Wii U isn't going to every bother the PS4 or Xbox One. But I'm convinced the Wii U will find it's profitable little niche, turning out games that Nintendo fans will love and tide us over for at least the next three years.

E3 just confirmed that for me.

Hasn't really changed my mind. I'm intrigued as to what they'll do with Zelda, but I didn't see anything to make me want to buy one.

It has no more or less games than I already expected it to have.

While the exact games they have for 2015 might have been a surprise, the fact that they have them wasn't.

Same as before, it's my main console and I don't feel the need to change that any time soon.

I've had zero interest in it since launch but now that I've decided to switch to PC and seeing some of the great stuff coming I'm looking at it as possibly being my main and only console for the foreseeable future.

What I like that they have done, is rather than Panic last year, they took their time and put out some of their best selling franchises, admittedly with a sparse release schedule. Now, instead of going back to the well, they have looked to introduce some new franchises (Splatoon, Captain Toad) or iterate on older ones that haven't had a look in for a while (Starfox, Yoshi) rather than just busting out more Mario. This diversifies the line up, especially when they finance exclusives such as Bayonetta and Devil's Third.

I think it's clear it's not going to be a worldwide hit, but E3 has given me the confidence that Ninty are in the Wii U for the long haul and are learning lessons, slowly but surely.

Picked one up January 2013. Enjoyed the game that were out for it at the time (Zombi U, Nintendoland, and all the Wii games I missed). Enjoyed it as a counterpart to the 360. Now happy the first party games that have been promised have come to fruition.

The same thing happened with the 3DS, where it took a while for the console-selling first party games to arrive.

I always had intentions of picking up a Wii U this year. E3 hasn't made me go out out and buy one *now* but it did make it even more appealing than before.

Nothing has changed for me, the games they unveiled, apart from Splatoon, were exactly what I expected.

I wanted one before E3, now I really want one. The things holding me back are the same as they were pre-show; lack of money and lack of space. Also, strong guilt about already owning and having set up a PS4, a PS3, a GameCube, as well as a 3DS, a Vita, a PSP, and a Game Boy Micro.

Already decided I was going to get one a while back, but I'm not in any rush and quite happy to wait for another price cut. I don't know how much they're going to turn things around due to E3, because while everyone was rightly impressed with what they showed, most of it was already announced.

How cheap do you want the Wii U? I don't understand why people want/expect it to get cheaper than £200, what price point are you waiting for and do you expect games with it?

Right now, you can get the console for £200 with Mario Kart 8 and another game, that's incredible value as MK8 alone would set you back £40, depending on your choice of free game you're also saving about £25-40.

I feel...

+ Great system with some great games
+ I'm excited by the titles shown at E3
+ I have fun using the console
- Nintendo must introduce proper digital accounting
- Big third party publishers just aren't on board

I'll be in Club U for the whole journey of the machine  .

Yeah, it's not that I don't feel it's worth it, but I'm just happy to wait as it's not like I have a shortage of games to play. It's probably something I'll pick up in a couple of years, kind of like how I picked up a PS3 towards the end of it's lifespan.

I think Alpha's real point was that, even if the machine were £50, you'd get people saying they wouldn't buy unless it were £30.

But, yeah, you can't now pick-up the Premium Console / Kart 8 pack for £200 like you could at Tesco a month ago. But perhaps this pack offers even better value:

- Basic console (white, 8Gb), Gamepad, Wii Remote controllers x2, Mario Kart 8, Wii Party U, Nintendo Land and Just Dance (plus your choice of digital game via the Club Nintendo promotion) - £250 from Amazon. Click here to view.

Personally I wouldn't worry about the small 8gb storage space as any Wii U owner (includng Pemium 32Gb folk) should really consider picking up an external hard drive for the longer term.
