Good episode the acting was top notch but all the crying was tad tedious though from Carie.

Dana stuff was not bad either. I think she is cute. :shifty:

That's another Emmy nomination and possible win for Lewis in the bag.

Fantastic episode.

Ep 6 -

Ok ep, moved the various storylines along nicely but nothing major. The attack at the end was a bit stupid with having no protection at the front. I know they wanted to keep it low key but at least have something.

The attack painfully reminded me of the blunt object 24 took to its plot on occasion. Seemed a bit dumb. I was expecting a bomb in one of those shoeboxes or something which probably have made more sense seeing as they knew they were second to the scene.

Other than that the episode was ok. Hope we haven't seen all of season 2's cards yet.

Didn't expect the terrorists dressed like SWAT scene to happen! Felt out of place in the show.

Yeah, the SWAT stuff felt completely out of 24. I say that as someone who loves 24 but it really didn't fit right here.

Decent episode apart from that.

To those who thought that the SWAT scene didn't fit are quite wrong.

A bunch of Arabs walking in to a small town shop with guns followed by shooting gets the police involved. A bunch of guys dressed in swat gear going in to a shop and shooting happens that is SWAT doing it job and people won't bat an eye lid.

It's all about staying inconspicuous as possible to enable escape.

I dont know why, but that sounds strawberry floating incredible.

Bah, still stands.

No one would call the police if they seen what they thought was SWAT or a tactical unit enter a building. The press maybe, but the police? No because as far as most people would be concerned it was the police.

I did forget to say that it shows how much reach the terrorists have if they could do that on such short notice, and that the cell must be larger than they first thought.

That was why I found it hard to believe, plus obtaining official SWAT attire and guns - surely stuff like that going missing would be noticed immediately.

No, the uniforms and ballistic helmets are standard gear that can be bought in suppliers anywhere in the US all they need is a velcro SWAT for the back of the jacket and AR15/ M4's are also on the market in the US and I'm sure they can get the right documentation done easily.

The use of such a thing tell me simply that they are highly organized and have contingency plans, not t shirt wearing rock throwers.

When and where did we find out that terrorist attacks are rampant and that there is a cell in the US?

The have been trying to track down operatives in the US since season 1 and at no time did I say anything was rampant.

Couple of niggles about recent episodes...

I don't quite understand why psycho agent dude appears to have got away with stabbing a suspect in the hand without any kind of punishment, nor does it seem sensible that he and Carrie are the two people tasked with communicating with Brodie. Both are unstable, one seemingly wants to kill Brodie and the other to strawberry float him.

I guessed as soon as the guy said that backup was an hour out that they were in imminent danger. I also noticed that Brodie's son was playing Kinect-only game The Gunstringer with a controller.

I found the interrogation scene hilarious because of that. Having one of them go full out mental and attack him then immediately follow it up with the other coming in and going "Why don't you live me??????" makes the CIA look unstable as hell. I'd clam right the strawberry float up.

Thought this episode was better than the last few but oh my god strawberry float off Dana's storyline.

Wasn't accusing, knew it had been said but just couldn't remember when. Seems the last few episodes have shaken a few people's, mine included, confidence with the series. It's going to have to have a strong final arc this season.

I'm watching this at UK pace but I have to post this...

Didn't watch the first series for... I dunno why, just didn't. Then I saw the adverts for that suicide video and it got me intrigued. Have been hooked ever since. Enjoying series 2, even the really unlikely bits but what I'm enjoying most the moment is the fact BIG things happen in the middle of the series and not just at the end/approaching the end. That and Claire Danes
