Every time someone says Estes all I hear is Alec Guinness saying Toby Esterhase.

Oh and the ending to episode 2 was quite a surprise.

Good episode but:

How did the guy at the airport know to stop Saul? And that he had hidden an SD card in the padding of the briefcase? And was prepared to violate "dee-plo-matic ee-muni-tee" to take something which he shouldn't have known existed?

Was very satisfying watching Carrie's "I was right, shiiii" at the end, I had begun to think they weren't going to show Saul showing Carrie/anyone else the video till the next episode.

Episode 4 surely has to have the rest of the CIA watch the video? That ought to be goooood.

I assumed he was working for Abu Nazir who found out the rucksack had been taken with the SD card in it. Stopping Saul was for TV drama purposes or maybe the CIA mole told them about him.

Apparently Damien Lewis has just signed on for 5 more seasons. This is literally the worst news that could happen. Not only will they drag it out for another 5 years, but his character surely can't be caught if he's sticking around all this time? :fp:

Granted, it's not official, but a lot of sites are reporting it. I hope it's not true.

Classic Showtime really, wouldn't be surprised if it's true. :fp:

Well, that just about kills any tension if true.

Terrible news if true. I read an interview not long ago where one of the writers said they know that they can't keep him around for more than a couple of seasons.

Had to download episode 3 to know what happened next. Seems to me that last week's cliffhanger had to be done to get Carrie back in the game. I'm also glad that Saul can't be the mole now, because any mole would have destroyed that evidence. Saul is the best thing about this show and I didn't want him to become a villain..

I still think Saul is the mole or the arab guy, but I'm leaning more towards Saul. Him trying to lock up Carrie in Season one was obvious. I'm betting on everything that SD card will never make it to Cia. Brody

I can already see this season beginning the deep slide into absolute garbage that Showtime generally puts out. Way too many scenes coming about from coincidences and character idiocy.

Depends what they do about Brody. If they just tail him ad nauseum instead of arresting like they should then it could get silly quick. The only way this show can have legs is if Brody and Carrie end up working together to battle terrorism, which is not what made last season good and would be probably be crap, just with a better chance of being good than stretching it out forever.
