With shopto yes. Pay with paypal and you have literally nothing to worry about with them.

Nope, I can confirm it. I've pre-ordered some games on Shopto and managed to get them, not one day earlier, but TWO days earlier :wub:

I'd really recommend Shopto if you can use Paypal.

Not ALWAYS, but very often.

Don't always gets a tenner off but 99% of the time you get it a day earlier.... sometimes two.

I mean, there's no way that any company could get it right every time. Or even all the time. Wasn't shopto the one where everyone's bank details got hacked or something?

Had tons of deliveries from shopto no problems at all, all 1/2 days before release. AC Revelations I even got on the Saturday before the Tuesday/Wednesday the next week it was supposed to be released, before I even had a dispatch email. If you pay by paypal you're covered if anything happens.

The evidence here suggests that ShopTo do get early deliveries right every time.

The was in issue with ShopTo and credit cards but you can use PayPal now if you have any concerns.

That was many moons ago. I registered but still with this concern firmly in mine. They've turned me into a very happy regular customer.

See for some reason im still worried about using Shop-to (but have recently used VGP which had the same problems).

Know it sounds daft but cant be bothered with the whole paypal thing as its a completely different bank to my main one...

Did Shopto ever come out and say they had been hacked or lost credit card information?

All you do is create a PayPal account and add a bank card to it for money to be transferred between the two. It's really not that hard at all and is a pretty daft reason not to do it. It makes buying stuff online so much easier.

Places like GAME are useful for demo-pods though, the only time I've ever played a 3DS or PS Vita has been in GAME.

True that. We might now have nowhere in this area that will be showing off new consoles in future.

Well that's unless pc world or hmv do, the former might have with the 360 before launch actually but Game were always the main place before pulling out of here.
