Your theory encompasses pretty much every likely scenario.

Nice deduction there. :P

4x07

Littlefinger creeping  :dread:
All those Eyrie scenes were extra weird because of how much taller Sana is than everyone else.
Really not a fan of how they did the moon door scene though.
Oberyn's scene made up for that disappointment somewhat. :datass:
Liked the Lollys namecheck.
Not liking the potential book 6 spoilers they threw in that episode either. :dread:

Throw all those responsible for the two week wait out the moon door.

It's Memorial Day Weekend. IIRC the last time they aired an episode on Memorial Day Weekend (2x09 which also happened to be the most expensive episode of season 2) it got the lowest ratings of that season.

Why do HBO care about ratings? They're a subscriber channel, presumably they already have the money whether the subscribers watch it or not.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

They do want people to watch their show though. The more people who watch it, the more buzz on Twitter and media attention which leads to more DVDs and more Game of Thrones merchandise sold which is better for Time Warner's stock price.

Memorial day weekend apparently results in 20% lower TV audiences. The hiatus right at the end of the season is annoying as hell sure but compared to waiting six years for George RR Martin to write a book it's nothing.

What was wrong with it? Are you talking from a book readers point of view?

I felt this season really needed that episode. Miles better than the others this season, especially in how well-written it was.

More of that please.

It's far more dramatic in the book as Sansa loses a shoe through the moon door

The revelation about Lyssa poisoning Jon Arryn at Baelish's instruction happens just prior to him shoving her out. Also he says 'Only Cat'.

It has more impact in the book as he realises she could undo all his plans with her loose tongue and that is obviously part of his reason for killing her.

Interesting. That way seems a bit more spontaneous on Littlefingers part. Was there an implication that the way it happened on the TV show, was that he intended that whole scene to pan out exactly that way?
