Futurama Season 6 - Eps 1 & 2 LEAKED. pg2

The worst of the bunch is Attack of the Killer Apps. Really poor episode and just way too "current events" for my liking. The rest I've enjoyed though. I think I would have liked episode 5 more had I seen The Da Vinci Code. It seems like Futurama though so far.

I thought the Da Vinci one was the worst so far but I've enjoyed all the new episodes. Funnier than most sitcoms these days. You know the ones to which I'm referring.

I'm liking the new episodes. As people are saying, they're getting judged by the standard of the very best episodes in the first four seasons, against which they obviously pale. Against the series as a whole, they're business as usual. "The Duh-Vinci Code" in particular felt like a first-run episode (actually, it kinda reminded me of the season 2 episode "The Deep South").

I couldn't be anymore happy with the new episodes. The only reservation I have is with Professor Farnsworth. He's way more aggressive than he used to be. I prefer his older more clueless ways.

Just watched first two. They seem watchable, but is it just me who has noticed the extra-sexualised portrayal of Leela and Amy now?

I'm the biggest critic of the movies (all of which I thought were terrible) but the new series is a massive, massive improvement and on a par with the original 4 series. Reading the opinions here I was expecting them to be rubbish but I can't see what people are complaining about. Ep 2 is probably the worst so far but even that had some great moments.

Anyway, really glad it's back.

Physicists would probably appreciate it more than others.

That was a brilliant episode, Futurama back to it's best. Although I am a physicist, so I really enjoyed what it was about. Farnsworth shooting Hitler and the nonchalantly walking back into the time machine. :lol:

Easily the best. Good to know they can till reach the highs of the old episodes. Hopefully this will shut up those wretched haters

I honestly think that was one of the best episodes ever, let alone of this series. It had the gravitas of Luck of the Fryish and The Sting but had more laugh out loud moments than both: "Thirty seconds...here. We. Go-oaoaoooooo!" "I'll shoot Hitler out of the window."

Yeah favourite episode of the new series. Every episode has been way way better than the films (but that's a very low bar to meet, but they are good episodes). Reminded me initially of the episode where Fry and his past girlfriend think they've gone to the year 4,000 but they're in New Jersey (?).

I liked the reference to a past episode: Fry becoming his own grandad :lol:

One of my favourite episodes, I love the bit where the tanks shoot the shells at the ship and they just kinda bounce off harmlessly and Zoidberg being the alien found in Roswell in '47.
Also referencing Terminator future and Bender loving it.

That episode is the reason why Futurama is my favourite TV show ever.
