I really enjoyed them episodes, especially the second one.

Just seen episode 1, quite meh tbh.

I loved them both, so glad this is back. :wub:

They weren't perfect but still entertaining. They felt a little like early Simpsons episodes in a way, the way each episode focused solely on one plot thread rather than the more usual A story/B story mix. Anyway, great to have Futurama back

Better than the movies, at the very least, if not quite up to it's previous best.

Also, going by those two episodes, it also seems to be curiously fixated on getting Amy and Leela undressed in a way that it wasn't before.

I don't like the fact that Leela and Fry are kinda together.

Fry was the perfect foil for all us geeks who don't get the girl of our dreams, seems a shame to mess with that.

I still think the voices are a bit off. First episode was ok, 2nd episode was better I thought.

1st ep was good, I didn't like the end of the 2nd ep. :shifty:

Its better than the last two movies at least.

Well the episodes were better than the movies in general.

Still take a while to adjust back to Futurama though.

Also, yes, there has been an awful lot of nudity for just two episodes, it's like all they did in the time off was look at fan made porn.

Yeah, the second ep laid on the male fan-service pretty thickly.

Does anyone else feel that someone's missing from the crew? I mean, I know all the characters are there, but I keep feeling like some are missing. It's hard to explain... perhaps it's that the core cast aren't really interacting with the wider universe at the moment. Those two episodes are very tightly focused on just the Planet Express crew.

I hated the films (only watched the first 2, couldn't bring myself to watch the remaining two) but I really enjoyed these 2 episodes. Much better than I feared they would be.

Haven't seen them, but after the ending of series 4, they simply had to get Leela and Fry together. Probably wont last though.

But yeah, pretty good so far. The first one had a difficult task of resolving the last film and setting up the series again. The second one was an improvement, but still not brilliant. Hope the series kicks on from here.

wow, those were both pretty crap. i'll follow the rest of the season but i'm not holding out much hope that it'll be any good.

They were ok, there was still something a little off I thought, but I can't really put my finger on it. I'm still hoping it'll improve as the season goes on though.

First episode was rubbish - a real 'throw everything and see what sticks' approach. It was just a hurried mess from one joke to another and very few of them worked at all. Second episode was an improvement.
