That was absolutely spectacular, great way to end the season.

It was quite amusing in places. I loved the first section based on very early cartoon art styles.

LOVED that episode. The different animations were really impressive. The 8 bit was a favourite.

An awesome episode, but I was really surprised it was a season-ender. Thought it might be mid-season. But when they know they have another season booked, then maybe it's not so surprising.

Great episode, not so keen on those really old cartoons but the manga section had me in stitches.
The videogame bit was good but nowhere near as funny as the Anthology of Interest one.

Great to hear that Futurama won the outstanding animated program Emmy last night for The Late Phillip J. Fry episode. Well deserved.

Great news. Possibly the best episode they've done to date.

Ugh. I'm getting really sick of this split season malrkey that all the DVD publishers are engaging in. I need DVD purchases to take up less space, not more.

Good start to the season I thought.

Loved both episodes

Better than most of what I saw in Season 6.

Liked 'em both. Not loved, but I feel better about them than last season's openers. Also, is it just me or has the animation improved? Season 6 had some distinctly off-model stuff, this was a lot closer to the clean crisp look of 4.

Just saw an episode where they reference the "Rowdy Roddy Piper Daycare centre in Scotland".

As in, what they call Groundskeeper Willy on the Simpson's where Homer is accused of grabbing that girl's arse. :lol:

Well in Futurama they say "Rowdy Roddy Piper". And this isn't the first time that the first time I've come across a cultural reference is via the Simpsons.
