It's ridiculous social media sites are allowed to take so little responsibility on this issue.
Twitter is a micro-blog, it makes lots of sense that someone might want to make an art account separate to their personal account to promote their art, or a GRcade account that represents the community and not a person, or for me to have a separate account linked up to my consoles for sharing screenshots, or a bot account set up for some fun gimmick like posting one line of a book every day. The "one account per person" model makes more sense for some traditional social media like LinkedIn where it's obvious an account = a real person but I don't think it makes sense for Twitter which is a blogging platform.
Absolutely ban racists though, and absolutely call out social media sites for a lack of moderation and responsibility!
