It's a ridiculous guess, but I'm going to go for Rayman
Rayman or one of those smaller Bowsers we see in Mario games (I can't remember their names, Bowser's son or nephew?).

Would love Phoenix Wright but unlikely as Megaman is in already from Capcom.
If they've retooled Peach's moveset as rumoured, it could mean she no longer uses Toad as a human... uh... mushroom shield so he could maybe be a character in his own right. Maybe the Captain Toad version from Galaxy/3DW.
