I remember people saying that about Gears Of War 2 and Halo 3

I kinda liked the look of what they showed off at the Microsoft conference, i'm probably one of few people that actually like the shift in tone and atmosphere of the game. Still, i'm hoping Microsoft get their ass in gear and do what Sony have and lift all restrictions off the X1 and maybe bundle in Forza and Dead Rising then i'll happily buy one for £429. Wishful thinking I know  :dread:

Dead Rising 3 designed to attract the CoD market: http://www.destructoid.com/dead-rising- ... 6136.phtml

Those of you idiots saying its changing for the better, part of the problem and you should end yourselves. A genuinely unique standalone product changed into an utter failure of a mimicry. Pitiful.

Capcom completely miss-reading their audience? I for one am shocked.

This looks terrible. The original Dead Rising was the game that convinced me to get a 360, how can they now get the core game so wrong? :fp:

I loved DR2 but this looks like a big jump in the wrong direction. Although it certainly looks like MS is covering all their bases of the X box One game wise.

Okay *now* I can't see it hitting any other platform. Massive shame that.

Wasn't Mass Effect published by Microsoft too?

Yeah but that ended up going multiplat due to EA buying BioWare. So yeah, we'll all get to play DR 3 as soon as Sony pulls its finger out and buys Capcom :P

I'm struggling to think of any 3rd Party games or DLC packs that have remained Exclusive as originally advertised by Microsoft. That was my point.

Doesn't Dead Rising do quite well in Japan? I thought it was one of the few 360 exclusives that shifted some consoles there?

With that video not showing a single scene of a grown man dressed as a school girl with a Lego man head on, I think Japan maybe on suicide watch.

Not being a dick but how many of those games did MS publish?

I can only think of a couple. Alan Wake, Lost Planet and Mass Effect of the 3rd party exclusive games. Wasn't one of the Viva Pinata's ported by a 3rd party to the DS? Or did I imagine that? I'm not sure on that one.

Dead Rising 1 never made it to another system so I guess it's entirely possible this is actually exclusive exclusive.
