Seriously though, she's human... we make mistakes. She has paid for hers with her integrity regardless.

It's hard not to feel some sympathy as she's getting hammered from all sides by people with tons of evidence/links. Every little slip she makes is pounced with glee by several people.

But she's not coming off well. Niave and childish (at best), and still a) not really seeing why her actions informed the perception of her and b) just lying/distorting things to try and prove her case (e.g. the highly selective quotes from TomB about libel action, and then getting shitty when caught out).

Of course, in the wake of this, the original article it linked to is long gone...

Well people are going "Well it's brave of her to come her" Or "I wouldn't have the courage".

Alternatively - "It's stupid and again shows a lack of idea how people behave [especially on the internet]"

Frankly, from what I've read, she's pretty much dug herself a hole and then dived in face first. I mean, it's not exactly rocket science to figure out that when caught in the middle of controversy, best policy is probably not to go thrash it out on a forum. Go quiet, let it dissappear and move on with your life.

Whether or not this is the right move is debatable, but you gotta give the girl credit for having the balls to answer questions on this.

If she was answering the interesting questions, maybe.

And the time for answering most of them was last year.

Infact question number 1 is "why NOT last year?".

It's really not. There is pretty much no way going onto NeoGAF would have ended in a positive outcome for her.

But most of the time she's avoiding the difficult/interesting/relevant questions, and trying to get her message/story across.
Which "the internet" isn't buying. It's not an AMA, it's a (poor) attempt at rehabilitation.

I haven't looked at the thread since it was posted on here, admittedly. I'll take a read through it when I get the chance.

Why can't we all just get along, maaaaan? We can park the condescending frivolities because she's not honest. She doesn't realise what she did was wrong, not really, and you'd imagine taking the time to reassess the situation would result in a considered conclusion and acceptance of full responsibility from her...not, "well, I didn't think about it but I guess I know why you were upset."

It's the equivalent of her admitting to knocking over a bowl of crisps in the kitchen while ignoring the fact she shat all over your living room carpet.
