Angry's Joe's error is administrative only. Sure a preview is not the same as a review, previews are initial thoughts of a non-final product and should be written in a tone of 'cautious optimism.' This IGN writer is upset that his preview comments were used by Angry Joe in a criticism of gushing reviews. However if a IGN writer in a preview decides to make unequivocal statements about a game's quality he cannot then later disassociate himself from them. Ryan McCaffrey of IGN said in his preview
"This is Microsoft's killer app... You will buy an Xbox One for Titanfall, and you should. Sure, you will have a good time with PC if you've got a capable rig but your couch and the Xbox Live community will be the ecosystem it's best enjoyed in."
http://uk.ign.com/articles/2013/08/22/i-played-titanfall-andWell excuse me but that is a
review statement saying Titanfall is of such high quality it is a 'killer app' and it provides a better experience than the PC version! Why on Earth is a professional games critic making a final judgement in a
preview? McCaffrey got called out. He even quibbles about a ridiculous 0.1 of a score. Angry Joe can be OTT and play's up to the cameras too much but as he is an outsider from the main channels he isn't afraid to say it how it is.
