Currently Playing in 2014....

Not Killzone Shadow Fall. Thank strawberry float.

Maf, tell us what you think about Uncharted.

Seriously though, you give Uncharted and NG such a hard time and yet here you are trying to tell us SF isn't average at best. Bonkers. But each to their own and all that.

Just over 4 years before Killzone Shadowfall was released. Its not miles out.

So that would make the 'bad' SP FPS campaigns you've played the recent CoDs and the other Killzone games then.

While those aren't good and Shadowfall probably sits amongst them, I wouldn't say they were really terrible when compared to what are actually the worst FPS games ever.

Just started Tomb Raider - acceptable edition (PS3). Not got very far into it, but seems promising....

Yes?

I'm not sure the age of the games in question benefits your argument anyway. Surely the point is that several games around 4 years old are better than Shadow Fall? In which case, the older the game the stronger Hugo's case is.

Not that I've played Shadow Fall, just that pedantry over the timing of their release probably represents a bigger shift away from the original argument than Hugo getting his dates wrong.

I was never arguing whether shadow fall was better, just that Hugo can't get his dates right.

Been spending time with some firm old favourites on PC, such as Syndicate and Brink; both solid games and well worth their asking price now.

Pretty addicted to Ys Memories of Celceta. I was disappointed with Ys Seven, but this feels much better, about 12 hours in so far.

Also surprised by how much I like Dynasty Warriors Next, it's actually a lot of fun.

You sicken me. Dynasty Warriors. :dread:

I'm still trying to do a hell run on Spelunky. Reached the boss once.

Died. Obviously.

It's not bad actually. For some reason I thought dynasty warriors was a 1v1 fighter which is why I steered clear of the dozens of previous games.

This reminds me of ninety nine nights, large scale battles with huge kill scores. I've only played a little and I bet it gets boring pretty quick but for a free plus game it's enjoyable.

The first game in the series was a one on one fighting game.

Just finished the racers career on need for speed rivals and about half way through the cop career. Started out disliking this game but it sort of grows on you the more you play it. I think I like the fact that it doesn't need hundreds of dedicated playing hours, I can just play It for 30 mins before bed.

Also picked up a copy of Lego marvel super hero's yesterday, I've always liked the Lego games and this one is no different. On the 6th mission and its been fun so far, might go for platinum on this one! Oh, and both games on ps4...taking a bit of a break from PC, trying to get my moneys worth out of the PlayStation.
